Functional Validation with CRISPR Tiling

CRISPR genome editing provides a highly efficient way to probe gene function and interrogate noncoding regions of the genome. Using CRISPR tiling, it is possible to pinpoint the regulatory function of candidate loci in vitro or in vivo without removing these elements (e.g. enhancers) from their endogenous environment.

In this webinar, the Director of Genomic Services at Desktop Genetics, Dr. Leigh Brody, introduces the use of CRISPR genome editing for functional validation and walks you through the process of designing a successful CRISPR tiling experiment.
